Occupy Wall Street

As the Occupy Wall Street protest enters it 26th day, mother nature has dealt the protesters a serious blow with the onslaught of rain and falling temperatures. Many are speculating that the protest will soon fall apart, either due to the protesters self interest in avoiding the discomfort of the bad weather or the city finally putting it foot down and forcing the protesters to leave the area or face prosecution. To date as many as about 800-900 protesters have been arrested and the occupation of the park and continued marches has cost the city as much as 2 million dollars in police overtime, this is not to mention the legal cost from the suits that are sure to come from many of the protesters claiming misconduct by the police.
