How to shoot a family on NY streets?

Well if your subject is Timothy Olyphant, his wife and three children and you are in Soho, you can try and get in front of them, in which case you may not get everyone because a five person family does not walk abreast down city streets ( or at least most families know that )  or you can shoot from across the street and hope they walk in a straight line while looking at you with Timothy giving you the OK sign from across the street adding to the weirdness of the image…wait  that is whats happening here!

Wow! That is one busy little girl!

I have to admit that I am tired from Suri Cruise’s day.  First it was off to lunch at trendy Balthazar restaurant in SoHo, then off to Chelsea Piers for a 2 hour gym class, then a trip to Columbus circle and a little shopping with mom and grand mom, and then after all of that it’s  off to Fifth Ave and Build a Bear where she picked up a new stuffed animal and finally back home to play.  I am exhausted.

Bacon Platt–er

Strange but true… Oliver Platt and Kevin Bacon had brunch together at a cozy little restaurant in Soho this morning and then were seen strolling around the same area.  Maybe the two were discussing an upcoming project, reminiscing about old projects or just paling around because they like each’s company…no matter the reason, it seemed like an unlikely pairing.  What’s next Ron Perlman ( he of Hell Boy fame) walking a little dog in the same area?
